It has been a while since I’ve been to Alabama, but I visited with my grandmother as she was born in coastal Alabama. I’m hoping to make it back soon for a visit to the gulf coast.

Kentucky

I live in Cincinnati, Ohio, just on the border of Kentucky, so we visit often and there is so much to see and do! Mammoth Cave is the longest known cave system in the world, stretching over 400 miles. There are also Louisville, Lexington, horses and bourbon!

North Carolina

The Carolina’s have beautiful seashore and Outer Banks is the location of the first ever manned airplane flight by the Wright Brothers. The inner portion of the state houses part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park bordering Tennessee.

 

 

South Carolina

South Carolina is home to the Grand Strand, over 60 miles of sandy beach, palmetto trees and vacation properties. 

 

Tennessee

Tennessee is home to a large portion of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, that resides in the Appalachian mountain range.
