December 2023

• 12/25/2023 – Hope everyone had a great Christmas! I’ll be doing some more reorganization and created a single “destination” page including all travel destinations and itineraries. Additionally, I’ve been researching a trip to Peru for 2025!
• 12/15/2023 – Hi everyone, hope you are finishing up on a great 2023! I have just been coaching kids basketball and wrapping up the year. I’ll have a little time off between Christmas and New Years so I’m looking forward to having some more time do some writing.
• 12/9/2023 – I love travel and I love astronomy, so I made a page for the Best Travel Telescopes.

November 2023

• 11/23/2023 – I hope that everyone out there has a Happy Thanksgiving!!
• 11/21/2023 – I’ve added an article including how to visit and the Best Things to Do in Boquillas del Carmen Mexico.
• 11/17/2023 – Looking to travel with your furry friends? Fortunately, I’ve created a page detailing the Best Pet Friendly Hotels.
• 11/11/2023 – I have been more times than I can count, so of course I had to add a page for How to Spend 1 Day in the Smoky Mountains!
• 11/2/2023 – Also, one more “One Day” page, this one is what I would do with 1 day, How to Spend 1 Day in Acadia!

October 2023

• 10/29-2023 – It’s always good to have more time, but sometimes you just have one day. I added the page How to Spend 1 Day in Big Bend!
• 10/26/2023 – I updated the Best Things to Do in Louisville with details from our last vacation!
• 10/15/2023 – More international pages, I’ve added The Best Things to Do in Angkor Wat from our 2010 trip!
• 10/10/2023 – We had a great weekend in Louisville with my family and I’ll be updating that page soon. Also, I finished the How to Spend One Day in Cincinnati page, go check it out!

September 2023

• 9/23/2023 – I’ve been working on some more of the international entries and have included The Best Things to Do in Thailand!
• 9/15/2023 – More cleanup… I’ve been adding a main image to every page to give large visual introduction. Also, we have a Louisville trip coming up next month so that page will get updated. And the Colonial Williamsburg trip is on the schedule for Spring break 2024!
• 9/2/2023 – I’ve been working on giving all of the region pages an overhaul, adding pictures and more destinations. Also, just making things look a little nicer!

July 2023

• 7/31/23 – Next week is a trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Ohio Penitentiary in Mansfield (film site of Shawshank Redemption). Review coming soon after!
• 7/22/23 – I’ve decided to start “How to Spend One Day (with kids)” series of articles. I’ve kicked it off with One Day in Quebec City!
• 7/18/23 – To celebrate 6 months of 545Travel.com, I wrote a 6 month update post detailing how I got here!
• 7/15/23 – I’ve published the Quebec City page and How To Spend 1 Day in Quebec City from our most recent vacation, check it out!
• 7/14/23 – Today is the 6 month anniversary of the beginning of the 545Travel website!!
• 7/13/23 – I’ve already started looking into vacations for 2024! We are spending a week in Branson, MO with my parents and I was thinking we could drive west and spend a week in Southern Colorado: Great Sand Dunes NP, Mesa Verde NP, Durango, Ouray, Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and Colorado Springs.
• 7/12/23 – Updates to the White Mountains of New Hampshire page. Also, it includes Kancamagus Highway, the Flume Gorge and Mt Washington. We didn’t exactly know what to expect, but we really enjoyed it!
• 7/9/23 – I finished and posted the pages for Boston and Acadia. It is good to finally get some new info in North Atlantic region. Also, it is funny, I’ve talked to about a half dozen people at my work that went or are going to Acadia this year.
• 7/8/23 – Check out our 2 plus weeks in New England itinerary!
• 7/3/23 – It has been a few weeks, but we just got back from New England, Quebec and Niagara Falls. Updates coming soon!

June 2023

• 6/10/23 – I’ve added pages for Rome, Florence and Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples and the Amalfi Coast.
• 6/3/23 – Just a week and a half until our New England trip to Boston, Acadia, Quebec City, White Mountains and Niagara Falls!
• 6/1/23 – Itinerary added for 2 weeks in Paris and Italy, including Rome, Florence, Sorrento, Amalfi, Pompeii and Naples.

May 2023

• 5/16/23 – Itinerary added for 2 Days in New Orleans and 2 Weeks in Costa Rica.
• 5/13/23 – I added an article to keep track of all the trip itineraries.
• 5/10/23 – Another itinerary: 2 weeks in Alaska. Also, a new page for Louisville, Bernheim Forest and the Bourbon Trail.
• 5/1/23 – I’ve been working on adding itineraries: 2 Days in Death Valley, 10 days on the Big Island, 2 weeks in Texas and New Mexico.

April 2023

• 4/22/23 – I published the Chicago page. Definitely, I’m getting the mid-west filled in!
• 4/21/23 – Published the page for Southern Indiana, Holiday World, Lincoln’s Boyhood Memorial and Owensboro KY.
• 4/20/23 – Finally, I was able to post the page for Kentucky’s Maysville, Red River Gorge, and Natural Bridge.
• 4/14/23 – Additionally, I added the page for Columbus, COSI and The Wilds.
• 4/12/23 – New page added for Channel Islands National Park and Hearst Castle, Monterrey and the 17 Mile Drive.
• 4/9/23 – I added the page for San Francisco. Definitely, stay tuned, it’s California week so more to come.
• 4/8/23 – I added a page for California wine country, Napa and Sonoma. Also, more California updates will be coming soon!
• 4/5/23 – Updates posted for Destin and and update on how long to spend in each national park.

March 2023

• 3/21/23 – Also, I posted my hometown Cincinnati (zoo, downtown, Kings Island) and Northern Ohio (Cleveland, Cedar Point, Port Clinton)
• 3/19/23 – I published the pages for Myrtle Beach, Mammoth Cave, Chincoteague, and Lake Michigan

February 2023

• 2/25/23 – I added the Disney World page. Also, you know that your kids want to go!
• 2/17/23 – I added the Paris page. Additionally, I’ve visited Paris 3 times and I loved it every time!
• 2/15/23 – The first international destination page, Costa Rica, has been added. Also, it is a bit special being our honeymoon trip!
• 2/12/23 – I added the Death Valley and Las Vegas pages after our recent travels. Spoiler: Death Valley thumbs up and Las Vegas thumbs down.

January 2023

• 1/28/23 – Additionally, the Denali and Wrangell St Elias pages for Alaska, have been published.
• 1/27/23 – I included the article, “How far should I drive?”, to help you determine your driving distances per day. 
• 1/25/23 – The  Washington DC page has been published. Primarily, this is the summer of 2017. 
• 1/21/23 – The Joshua Tree NP page has been uploaded. Also, this was our kids first RV trip back in 2014.
• 1/19/23 – The Great Smoky Mountains NP page is now active. Additionally, it is a collection from a dozen different visits over the years.
• 1/18/23 – I added the article The 50 State Challenge. Also, how many states have you visited?
• 1/17/23 – Also, I added pages updated for Big Bend, The Big Island, Maui and Oahu. However, both of our Hawaii trips were so much fun.
